Here at JML Audio, we are passionate about automobiles. We love every part of them. Whenever a new model comes out, our team can’t wait to see how the engineers designed the vehicle.
When clients come to JML Audio, they are going to experience our passion through attention to detail not seen by other shops. Nowhere is this more evident than in our audio installations. Follow along with us as we present to you:
Why a JML Audio installation is better
Systematic Approach To Audio Installation
For us, the installation differences start at our first meeting with the client. Our goal is to take whatever the vehicle manufacturer did and improve upon it. Your vehicle had over a billion dollars of research and engineering done on it before it went into production. Our team will take a systematic approach to the improvements we are going to make in your vehicle.
That means every part and every piece has to work together in a seamless fashion to make your drive more enjoyable. If one part doesn’t work properly with another, we don’t use it. If one part of the installation could cause issues with another part of the car, we simply don’t do it. It is our belief that focusing on the needs of our clients, not on short-term financial gains, will result in our clients becoming lifelong customers, and that they will refer their friends, family members and associates to us. JML has employed this business model since day one, and it has worked well for us. Our core values keep us focused on this goal. We also believe that any work done to your vehicle should look like it came that way from the factory. That is the final part of our systematic approach to your vehicle.
Materials
One of the sad realities of our industry is that many shops still use antiquated materials as part of the installations. Decades ago, vehicle manufacturers realized that metal and composites were much more reliable for building structure in a vehicle, yet many shops that do custom work still use wood as their primary building block. When JML Audio is building custom mounts to hold sensors, electrical components, amplifiers, batteries and processors, we use metal and composites exclusively.
Our goal is to give you an installation that will last the life of the vehicle. We expect and want you to drive your finished vehicle all the time. Get out there and enjoy it – the work performed here will take the punishment of potholes and extreme temperature changes.
Methods
Even if you have a systematic approach to an installation and use better materials, none of it will matter if the methods used are not up to par. Our team has the best installation standards of any shop in the country. All of our wiring is neatly loomed with the same materials used by the vehicle manufacturer and is neatly held in place. If a person disassembled one of our installations, they would have a hard time distinguishing between factory wiring and our wiring. This makes for easy vehicle servicing and increased reliability.
When it comes time to mount our electronic controllers, crossovers and interfaces, we never zip-tie them into place. We make custom composite mounts and securely fasten them to the substructure of the vehicle, just like a factory part.
Our laser and radar detector installations use custom aluminum mounts bolted to factory structures for the ultimate in performance.
When you are ready to make improvements to your vehicle, we invite you to contact us HERE at JML Audio. Let’s set up a consultation appointment at our state-of-the-art facility. One of our team members will look over your vehicle with you and then give you a tour of our installation department. Once we have gathered all of our information, we will work up a proposal individually designed for your unique goals and objectives.
We look forward to meeting you.
